World 14.1 Championships...re-draw after RR?

Just curious how they were doing the draw after the RR format was completed. A couple of questions...don't know if anyone other than the tournament staff know the answer...

- How many players are moving through from the RR format?
- Are they seeding the players in the charts?
- If they only move the top three from each group, are they giving the overall top eight players byes? (since the top player from each group went undefeated)
- If the above is true, are the rest done as a random draw? Or as a seeded draw?
- Are they seeding players by W/L, then points difference, then points for, then points against?

Just trying to make sense of it, as I didn't see anything posted about it anywhere.

My guess:

- How many players are moving through from the RR format? 3*8 =24
- Are they seeding the players in the charts? I can't imagine that they don't seed the players
- If they only move the top three from each group, are they giving the overall top eight players byes? (since the top player from each group went undefeated) Sounds right
- If the above is true, are the rest done as a random draw? Or as a seeded draw? Seeded draw
- Are they seeding players by W/L, then points difference, then points for, then points against? Looks right

I read that Landon Shuffett did not advance out of the Round Robin stages, so it looks like they are going off of "points for". If that's the case, then he missed the cut by 15 points. Brutal. Also, Tom Karabatsos, (who beat Landon out for the third place in their group) was the only player to qualify with a sub .500 record. Jonathan Smith finished 4th in his group with a 3/2 record. More brutalness. Here is the break down in that case...

Just curious how they were doing the draw after the RR format was completed. A couple of questions...don't know if anyone other than the tournament staff know the answer...

A lil off topic but it seemed many more balls were rattling on the TV table yesterday. Jasmin hit a few pretty good that didnt drop. Still in all-pretty big pockets.

How did they initially do the draw, and how did they do the redraw?
Was it public? On a computer? Back room? Mystery?
