As long as no money was exchanged at the outset, I don't see why this is a problem. Is there a risk that you won't get paid? Yes, of course. But that's the worst that can happen. As least you wouldn't be losing anything out of pocket if the transaction goes south.

Yeah, but as an 'honest' bettor, you could be throwing your $ at nothing, right? Meaning you will pay but the other wont...

Yes, and that is why they call it "gambling." On a site like this with no regulations, you do it at your own risk, at your own discretion. I don't know if you can really get too uppity if a bet goes awry here. It's a verbal agreement between strangers, and if you don't know the other person to be a reputable person, then what's to stop them from screwing you over? I'm in no way condoning this kind of behavior, but it's just how some people are.

77club, if you agree that betting with a new member with no iTrader was a bad idea, then why did you do it? In my first post, I defended your decision to do so, stating that the worst that could happen is you get air-barrelled and come away with nothing for your efforts. You may have to cut your proverbial losses here.

Short of dragging his name through the mud, (which won't matter, since he has been here for about 6 weeks) there isn't a thing you can do.
