Are they open? The no.I have is not a working no. If anyone has any information I'd appreciate it. I heard they used to have some good tournaments.
 
if they r closed they closed recently,..... i no the upl 8 ball tour has had a few tourney there in the past few months

Contact Denny Stewart user name "DennyS" on AZ. He should be able to give you an answer. Last I heard Rack Attack is where he gave lessons.
 
Last I heard they were closed other than one night for leagues. Denny was using the place during the day to give lessons.

Sorry to say they are closed! I have been giving lessons on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I was always hoping the two owners would get it resolved but they didn't. I will be there tomorrow for classes and will be looking for another room to setup in or will be doing private lessons in the future. They are taking bids on the Diamond tables to liquidate them.

I called Downing Billiards and they told me it was closed. I guess I'll be headed down south to Columbus. That's probably the closest place for me for the larger tournaments. I live in Bucyrus.
 
Denny...Wow! Sorry to hear that. Rack Attack was a nice room, and the one owner I knew (gave a lesson to) was a very nice guy! Hope you find another room soon!

There's definitely a market here in my area for a sports bar/pool room. I think the 8-ball Sports Bar in Columbus, Ohio is the model that you need to be successful in today's economy, 20 bar boxes, 8 9ft Gold Crowns, decent food, a liquor license and leagues, leagues and more leagues.
