How do you put a 314-2 Decal on a blank shaft?

So kinda like the title says I have a blank 314-2 that I had the collar work done to and I have the 314-2 decal that is suppose to go on the shaft but I have no idea how it's suppose to go on. Could anyone enlighten me as to how I do this? thanks in advance

The one that was sent to me was straight from predator themselves. So if it is a water decal, how do i put it on?

Most are plain transfers but the last one I put on was a water transfer. They are hard to discern. What I do normally with the dry transfer is I take the sheet that it is on, tape it in place with Scotch tape and then take a dull pencil or such and rub the back of the sheet making sure I don't miss any where so that the complete transfer sticks to the cue. I then remove the tape and paper. After doing this, if the transfer never stuck on the shaft then you know it is a water transfer. Just soak in warm water for a minute or so and stick the now loose decal onto the shaft and pat dry. Be sure to put a finish over the decals or they will quickly rub off. Also, a super glue finish will not work.

The easiest way to tell which is which is to read them.
If it reads backwards, it's a dry apply type and you would place it face down on the shaft as Dick describes.
If it is the wet type, it reads in the normal direction.
With this type, you wet the back of the paper, let it soak in for 30 sec. or so, then position it over the shaft where you'd like to place it and slide it off.
Depending on the finish you're shooting, the wet type will wrinkle.
To minimize this, start with very light mist coats and let them completely flash, 5/10 min btwn coats. Once you have a couple of light coats on you can apply your finish as normal.

I much prefer the dry-apply type. The transfer itself is only the thickness of the ink and I can usually get it out of the spray-booth with just one session. The wet type is much thicker and you're almost guaranteed at least two spray sessions.
