My wife was shown how to install the skirts/aprons (what is the correct term?), but she is nervous. So to help her out, she would like a refresher from the experts. Any help would be appreciated. This is a 5x10 snooker table, if it matters.

Assuming its a gold crown 1 or 2 you start with the ball box mounted first center diamond centers with the center line of the ball box.

1. ball box mounted.

2. side skirt install at about 15- 20 degree then swing down ward.

3 forgot find corrasponding numbers stamped on all corners 2-2, 3-3 ,4-4 etc.

4 need to add metal clamp that has 2 bolts i think 3/8 head this will clam skirts together

5. add other long skirt and head skirt

if you have bolt on blinds/skirts then still start with the ball box.

Plastic moldings are a pain to install usually with flat head screws or nut and bolts. some have started to use black metal clips to hold plastic pices together and it works fine.

this might help alittle

7/16 heads on those bolts for the brackets unless they've been replaced. They are a pain to get to though! Another tip, don't put the corner pockets in until after the skirts, or you won't be able to get your hands up in the corners to tighten the bolts. I like to put the side pockets in BEFORE the blinds though or it's tough to get them in.
