This seller someone from AZ????

There is a guy that sells(or tries to sell) some cue on ebay that have a hatchet for a logo.He calls them "axes" they look like koa import and he tries to get about the same price for them.I don`t know if this is him or not but sounds very close.

Cue ID

The Logo on the cue is CTB which stands for Chi-Town Billiards of which he is the proprietor..He apparently has comissioned Samsara to build this cue for him..He did the same thing with Carolina Customs..They are good cues, but I can't speak for the rep of the seller as I have never bought from him..

Ebay says he is from the Chicago area. Don't know the cue or seller but has a lot of cues for sale.

I tried every combination of those symbols that I could think of. found nothing. The description given is almost the exact description given on samsaras web site.http://www.samsaracues.com/. But they look quality.
If that is the cue you will get it seems up to par.

Still just the thing that he won't/can't mention the builder sounds suspicious. I never like when people tries to hide things.

I have personally dealt with him and a few partners of mine have too. I do not recommend it. I heard that ebay slapped him on the wrist for advertising the cues he has as CC, Samsara, etc. Since the logo is his own he can't sell them under any other name.

2 cents

His feedback says his name is Rick... but I'm with freak above, I never recommend ebay unless the seller can be 100% verified and trusted. GL with everything. Ryan

Yep, like tommy said Chi town Billiards, Comissioned through him built by Samsara. But MMMMMMMMMM Rare, and check out the Extented warranty prices. You would think Jim and Dave would stand behind their product at no charge.

personally...and this is just me....I wouldn't spend that kind of money on a cue that wasn't from someone I never heard of. Especially since it didn't seem like it had that much work in it. Save the trouble and spend that money on a BCM or one of those sweet Billy Webbs.

Thanks, guys for the info...some customers from me has ask me about this seller, now I know they must not buy from him..I advise them that I look for them here on AZ..because AZ sellers you can trust them....;)

Ebay sellers

I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss Ebay sellers..I know of several Ebay sellers that are every bit as trustworthy as AZ sellers..In Fact, they are one and the same but for some reason they don't like to admit it..

A good seller is a good seller nomatter where he is! I like AZ they seem to list all the info and better pictures Yep got a Tasc I thought it had a chunk outa it when I got it only a scratch! Thanks for that one DAVE! Working Man has a nice SurgarTree for a little more than this EBAY CUE! He is an HONEST GUY!Ron

Lots of cuemakers over the years have done commission work for dealers. McDermott cues made some cues for AE Schmidt here in St. Louis with AES engraved on the butt. Doesnt make it illegitimate or shady. They are just trying new ways to infiltrate the market. Balabushka never signed his cues. Does that mean he was trying to hide something? Jacoby has made cues for Pro Pool players under a different name so the player can sell the cues and get the endoresment. Sometimes using limited number designs to help make them marketable. I agree this guys methods on Ebay are a little...different...but it is his way to sell cues.

I admit that I am an ebay seller! I use the same handle there as well. There are great ebay sellers out there. This is how myself and others I know have had bad dealings with rick. IMHO not a trustworthy or honest seller.
