I needed some TLC on my GCIII, or what I thought was a GCIII. I had local guys, move and set up my table. Then I had the professionals come in Real King Cobra, Josh and Don. The closest thing the locals did was ALMOST level the table. Josh & Don got the rails off. Leveled the table, then they started on the rails.
The cushions were in good quality condition, with Super Speeds. But they were barely glued on and actually loose in some places. The pieces of facing were pasted on each end, like a two year old. Besides that they were great!
While re-machining the rails in preparation of sub rail extensions (AND Artemis cushions!), we found out the rails actually came from two different tables. And two of the slates had a 1 & 5/32 thickness, obviously not Brunswick. Oh, then there was the GC IV frame. :speechless:
No worries, Real King Cobra and company were on sight and on the job.
In a word… Professional. From skill, to communications, to attitude and quality of work these guys are the best, bar none.
I’m just glad Glen, Josh and Don are not working where I am, doing what I do. I’d be on the street, faster than you could say Artemis Intercontinental Cushions.
And just a note, I know who the Real King Cobra is but the beast(!) that emerged down in my basement when I put a cue in his hands, was from another planet.
To imagine what it was like to be in a real competition game with Glen, would be nothing short of war. This guy’s got game! Even at my best I would have never been able to hold a candle to Glen.
Thank you all for pulling my GC out of the abyss. She plays like butta now!
Thank you Glen!
