Having table moved and recovered, this a decent price?

I finally found a table on craigslist and I'm now looking to have it picked up, delivered, and recovered with Simonis 860. It's a Brunswick Bristol 7' table. The table is currently located about 2 hours away from my home which is in the Minneapolis suburbs. So far I've gotten one quote of $325 for the move and $250 for the Simonis cloth installed. Is this a fair price? This quote is from Cue and Carom out of Minneapolis. Anyone familiar with their work at all? Other suggestions for mechanics in the Minneapolis area?

Thanks,
Brian

the price seems a little low for the move, and seems reasonable for the new cloth installation with move. if he's going to move the table for that price and does a good job, make sure you tip him.

Yeah, tipping is a definate. Also just got a 2nd quote from Jamie Pluta which is in the same ball park and I know his reputation proceeds him.

Decisions decisions... Jamie has also offered to help me find a table closer as well... *sigh*

Seems really low IF there is 4 hours of drive time involved on top of the pickup/disassembly time plus the installation/setup time. Maybe that's the going rates for the area and being made up for somewhat with the charge for the Simonis. $575 total sounds like a bargain if they do a good job.

Think I'm gonna pass on this table on the advice of Jamie Pluta. He's gonna help me find something a bit sturdier. He's worried about the table being able to stay level for a long period and thinks it would be a waste to put Simonis on it. As I want a quality playing table, I'm gonna wait until something better comes about. But, at least now I have a decent idea of what the cost will be for moving and Simonis install locally.

Thanks,
Brian
