Offered is an MO-7. The butt is straight and almost new in appearance. No dings or cracks in the plastic. Hard to tell it is old...but for the yellowing of the finish. Sealed black wrap and 1 shaft. Shaft is a tight12.5 at the tip (gauged...not mic'd) and has a mild wobble. Not straight but still superbly playable. Nice veneer colors and gorgeous figure to the forearm. Definitely a fine looking example. $340 Delivered

Meucci Gambler. Spade suit. 1 Black dot shaft. Mild wobble. Test hit by me but otherwise like new. Not an "originals" cue. No ivory. Points look a bit sloppy with veneer touch-ups (only noticable to picky buyers like me) but those distinct red veneers over white points into ebony make this cue distinct and unmistakable. Delivered for $275

Those were my cues that Gian bought. The Original is a phenominal player. The Gambler has a story...I bought a Gambler from Bama and it was way rough as far as points etc. So I sent it back to Meucci. The guy in charge of the shop told me he would make a perfect one for me. 6 months later this was the cue I got. I had actually forgot all about the cue being at Meucci. When I opened the package I noticed the exact things Gian did and promptly e-mailed Meucci several times and the same guy will no longer respond. I guess this really is his best work ;)

Thanks for the background Jim. I guess this looks a bit like evidence of the shift in Meucci quality from the Originals era to recent day production.

I played 2 racks with the Gambler and liked its feel. My only issues were touch ups in the veneers and an imperfect shaft...still a dangerous player though.

All I can say is that MO-7 is a gem. You kept it looking pristine and it was a beautiful cue from day one. Any Meucci collection will be enhanced by it.

Should anyone want both cues, I'll take the price down for the pair by $100 bucks. Both cues delivered for $515!
