Also, I guess the format is the same as last year, a single-elimination cup race to 15 winner break?

Glad to see that Orcullo is coming to the derby again this year. He hasn't been in a few years. Also good to see he will participate in the 10 ball. I'm so amped for the derby this year!!!

Johnny just got in! Number eight. We're halfway there and it isn't even January yet. This one may fill pre DCC! By the way, not a bad first eight players. :rolleyes:

Jay, Can you explain the structure, I was thinking about putting someone in. My friend said he wouldn't even stake Efren in it, because the structure is too tough? With money added it seems like it would be this year, any thoughts?

Well if he had backed Efren last year he would have won several thousand. Structure too tough? One of the 16 still has to finish first. Dont quite get that.

The only thing tough about this event is the level of the competition. Otherwise it's very fair:
ALL matches are a Race To Fifteen, Ten Ball. It is Single Elimination and players will play one match per night. If you win two matches you are in the money. First will pay $9,000, second $4,500 and third-fourth $2,250 each. Hope this answers your question.
