Question about doing a linen wrap

I did my 1st linen wrap tonight using a hole and toothpick at the beginning and finishing up with the loop and pull through at the end. It came out great except for one thing that bothers me. Where I pulled through with the loop there is a little lump, I tried to flatten it as much as I could but when I was completely done it was still there. Is there anything I can do about it, or another method that works better?

I prefer the hole and toothpick at each end.

Try dampening the area around the bump and repress it while it is wet. This is the method I use and you can't find any bumps.

Worked like a charm! Thanks. Is there any reason I should'nt starch it and re-press it at this point? Its smooth and some what shiny as of right now. I figure the starch will help it stay that way.

I don't care for starch... It is water soluble, so it can react with perspiration on your hand.

i'm with todd on this.....scotch guard will help it stay clean also brother.......
