This year I will be in the market to buy one or two cues at SBE.

The cues of interest to me are JMW, Prewitt, Sugartree, and Tim Scruggs.

18.5 - 19.25 oz, is a must. Also, has to be near mint or better condition and all components must be straight as an arrow.

Please let me know if you have any of these and plan to attend SBE.

TIA!

Best,

Don't have any cues for sale but.... Sure like to meet another AZ'er. Hope we have an AZ meeting area. I'm easy to spot. Oldest guy in the Open. Youngest in the Super Seniors!

Hi Lyn;

I would enjoy getting to say hello at sbe.

I also intend to try and get an azb meeting figured out. With everyones different schedules I know it'll be tough. Vendors, tourney players, some matches can go til close to midnight as I recall.

Speaking of schedules, if you're playing in the open as well as super seniors, be advised that if there is a scedule conflict you have to decide which one you want to play in because, what they have done in past years is make you forfeit one. I don't know if this remains true for this year but the last few it was that way.

Well, I'm relieved to know you won't be playing in the regular senior division, remembering how you gave Gabe all he wanted on more than one occasion. :bow-down:

I'll be back in touch as the time draws nearer so we can meet up.

Sbe

He won't have any of the cues listed, but he will have a selection showing his talents. You should stop by Robertson custom cues booth. Talk to Curtis, he is also competing in the Trick shot tournament while there. I am sure you you will like what he has to offer.

Brian,

I'll be playing in all three amatuer events! Made it to Sunday in the Seniors. Saturday night in both the Open and Seniors two years ago. This will certainly be a juggling act to do all three. Last year, I had to forfeit my Open match Saturday so I could continue on in the Seniors. Strange but I made more money winning one more match in the Seniors than I could have by winning the next three in the Open! Allen needs to look at the payback gaps. Anyway, all I have is time on my hands now. Its something to do. Talk to you again soon.

Depending how much you want to spend, get a hold of Little Kenny.

Otherwise, I'm sure there will be plenty (and I do mean PLENTY) of people willing to offer their cues.

Here's the link of exhibitors:

Get a hold of Joe (Bamacues), Worminator, Ken Kerner, and Don (sureman).

Good luck either way!

That is odd. Were you through the same number of rounds in both events?

Jmw cue

I have a jmw cue that is in pristine condition. Maybe 20 racks hit with it. Its a sneaky pete ebony butt into maple full splice piloted joint 5/16 14 hits awesome. Only asking 800 or best reasonable offer. The best way to get intouch with me is to call me at 914 589 6137

Actually, having already made it through to the money in the Open, the first paying round was around $425. The winning my next match would have been worth about $550. Winning the next was about $750. Coming back Sunday morning would have won me about $900. Getting into the first paying round in the Seniors was like $450. By forfeiting my Open match and concentrating on the Seniors, the minimum I could win was $875. Seemed like a much better deal winning one match than three. The players in the Open at that point were much tougher than in the Seniors. Of course I ran into Dave Daya (he won the event) Saturday night. Oh well. The money was better my way regardless. I'm just not the hero type! Bird in the hand eh?

hi Guy;

Gian hooked me up real good last year with a room. He gets a free beer on me every SBE for his kindness.

I could probably arrange to get one for you, too.

Will look out for you.

Best,
