You need to contact Brent (BHQ). He may well have a pic of your cue in his files, as he takes pics of nearly ever cue he makes.

You need to make the police aware that your cues are likely worth more than their sidearm is. Ask Brent and Dickie to go through their paperwork for receipts and perhaps Letters of Provenance...this will provide full specs of the cues and their original owner.

When you dump paperwork in the police dept laps showing not only pics, but full descriptions, ownership, and value...they are more likely to take it seriously. I would be all kinds of up their backsides to keep them moving on this.

Lisa

PS....I know it can be a hassle, but even if I stop midway to the hall or room or tavern, I take my cue with me everywhere...I don't care about odd looks. I have known more people who have lost something important to them by leaving it in their vehicle.

oh i know

iv been in contact with all the cue builders in the area and some more on here. iv worked at two of the 3 local pool rooms around here as well. so i will have eyes out every day. the cops did offend me what i told em that i would not take no less than a 1000 dollars for that stick and payed 700 for it. i dont know if Dickie would write up a stament of worth or not. ill have to ask him.

I would like to thank all AZers for being so nice and all attempts to help

no such luck lisa, that was two computers ago,
had to be from wayyyyyyyyy back around early 2005
i looked thru my entire photobucket also
i cant find any cue with that pin
if i recall, i only did the first 3 or 4 house cue conversions with 5/16x18
that must have been even before i knew what photobucket was
it was also before i knew what az billiards was,
so it's not in any of my old posts either
given what i knew about building cues way back then,
he oughtta be grateful somebody stole it!!! :D
we've come a longggggggg waaayyyyyyyy babyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

i coud tel it was a learning cue, but it was mine and should any of the cues turn up id love em back. and brent, that cue played great.

I'm sure it will turn up in a pool hall or for sale somewhere down the line. If you do your part, I am pretty sure you will get it back. That really sucks man, that is a nice cue made by a fine cue maker.

oh ya

yup Dickie is one of my heros. he is old and grumpy but as true as a guy can get.you would be hard pressed to find a guy who knows as much about cues and pool history as him. should i come into some cash again im gonna get another one built. thanks you all for keeping an eye out
