Hard to tell - it looks alot like a Mali from the 70s

The butt cap looks like an Adams as well as the overall design. But the screw has me wondering. I am also leaning towards Viking

I am contacting Viking to get there opinion. The only thing is the joint does not seem right for a Viking.

No Heubler mark and no nylon insert for the joint screw. Thanks for the input though.

Don't think it's an old Viking as they normally had their name on them. Also, they used piloted joints or ones with brass inserts IIRC.

I'm leaning towards an old Palmer now. Viking used the Wico plastic veneers and I understand they closed their doors a couple of months ago, so I doubt you'll get and answer from them. Chris should know for sure. It could also be an Adams, or even and old Mali. They all made cues similar to this.

Why do you think it is not a Palmer. I trust your knowledge, just want to know what characterists don't fit a Palmer cue?

Hello all. Thanks for your help thus far. I went to Chris's site and noticed the cases by Palmer. I am on my way home when I get there I will photograph the case that the cue came in. It might be a Palmer. Are thee any specific attributes of the case that I should photo? Did Palmer make cases that were not signed or marked?
