8 ball WPC Final Stage

The first serie of matches is just beginning right now.

SVB is playing Phuc Long

Race to 9, winner break from what I've heard.

Since there is no thread with explicit title... here we go :)
The final bracket of the single elimination rounds is now posted on the front page HERE.

Man, there's some serious talent in this field! Hey Bill, just to be sure, are you saying it's now single elim from this point on?

Hope there will be some interest ;)

I'm so interested, I'm gonna click the online brackets every 20 seconds. This is gonna be so exciting for us in the US.

(I know I have no right to expect streaming coverage, but it does suck donkey johnson that a premier event like this leaves us in the dark.) :(

It's entities like TAR, Accu-Stats, Ontherail, Bigtruck, etc, that are responsible for my over expectations.

I've seen people banned for less. Watch your tongue mister!

I know lol ;)

Yes it is single elimination from here.

I feel the same as you concerning the live stream. Now quiet every single tournament is streamed and it is very frustrating for us to not be able to follow such an important event. At least the tournament take place, that's good for the players ;)

The Magician is out of the tournament, he lost 5-9 to Joven Alba
Kuo Po Cheng lost to Alok Kumar 4-9
Some big surprise!

It looks like Ortmann is on fire!
SVB leads Long Phuc ;) 7-4 atm
Hill Hill match for Thorsten
Chamat and See are tied at 7

Thorsten lost.
SVB is on the hill leading 8-7
See beat Chamat 9-7

More to come tomorrow!

I would definitely pay for a stream with this much talent plus it's 8 ball, rarely do i see streams with pro's shooting 8 ball.

Maybe next year they'll get something going? One can only hope.

Anyway thanks for the updates, I didn't know they were that far along in the tourny.

I can't believe that! I thought it must have been a no-sho for Kosta... Especially provided his manager said on a local site his match is scheduled for tomorrow! Winner breaks must have smth to do with a whitewash, but still... Are you sure they really played?

Any information on playing conditions?

From the scores and upsets, it seems like they're playing on tables with buckets.
