i have about $400 to spend on a new play cue, was considering either a mezz ec7 or a predator sneaky, which would you guys recommend? and could you also tell me why? thanks and cheers.

i would recommend looking into a custom cue instead of spending it on a production cue. there are many cue builders on here, im sure they could offer you something comparable or better than either cue and for right around the same cost too. just my opinion:thumbup:

I like predator but that's me. Pool Dawg has predator s.p.'s for $280, that's a great deal.

noone can say that this or that cue is the best and you will like it. What feels good for someone else may not feel good to you. you can actually get a cue that will hit different than the exact same one that a friend had that you tried by the same manufacturing company. It's a process of trying different cues out and seeing what you like. I really would try to go with a custom cue maker because they use top notch materials, better workmanship ( not mass produced) and have more of a consistent hit from cue to cue . MY OPINION

I would look into a predator but that is subjective. Prob find a pj custom in forsale area. But i would not have on built unless you are going to spend a bit more.

Mezz is hands down the best production cue you can buy period. Schon is a distant second, and everything else is well, further down the road.

I fifth that, . . I own the low and high end of both Pred and Mezz, but still shoot with my trusty Mezz SP with a HP2 shaft.:grin-square:

The quality of the Mezz, for a production cue is second to none.
