If anyone want's to call and talk about Pool , I'm not a teacher ,or BCA Instructor, just an old road guy, love the game and like talking about pool in general, sharing stories, and action tit bit's , call me, between the hours of 1:00 /5:00 P:M Central /Standard Time ( Arkansas).......... if I am not busy I'll be glad to talk with ya about pool:thumbup:

I know your brother got a lil mo press n fame sorta say playing pool...but I've been told that you use to shoot a purdy mean stick yourself there David :grin:

Nice offer!!! If I ever get up to Texarkana I will give you a call to play a few sets and get some pointers.

I don't have a lot of stories, but love to play and would love to play you. Based on your stories here I know that you and your brother (Country Calvin?) are two hell of a players.

I remember you said you were still a spring chicken, so what about text messages? Pretty much the only time I actually make a call is for business purposes. I usually text during games(but I'm not that annoying guy that does it to the point it interrupts the game).

I'd certainly like to see about getting some advice about being able to utilize english to a greater capacity. I know the basics of it, but mainly just use it to secure good position. It's a complicated thing though, I think, and have been trying to get better at it.

That's a very cool and generous offer. I have been more obsessed latley then ever before with old road stories and the personalities attached to them.

I've been reading every biography and non-fiction book on pool I can get my hands on latley. Currently reading From Rags to Rifleman, Great book with some great Buddy Hall stories.

I'm sure I will take you up on your offer soon..

Been pigging out on seafood & partying it up for mardi gras...getting it out my system...come wednesday giving up da booze for lent & getting back in da gym..Hope things are going good on your end.

I don't live in Texarkana anymore, but I do play the tournament at Shooter's on Tuesday night, and table time is free from 5:00 P:M till 2:00 A:M, tournament runs about 2 1/2 hours. , so we will have lots of time to hit balls together, would love the game, drop by sometimes, call me when you plan to come up.

Call when ever, that is a good book your reading, my brother Country Calvin is also mentioned in it by Buddy Hall.
