I use a canvas tool bag that fits nicely inside one of the cue lockers at the pool hall. There's a set of two and I use the larger one at home to actually hold tools. The smaller one is perfect for pool balls. as a side note: I never understood why a case for balls -- that are normally smashing into each other -- needed all that padding. Anywhos, here's a set almost like mine that you can buy online for $7.

That's funny and it made me stop and wonder too. But I guess the padding is not so much to protect the balls from each other as it is to eliminate the noise when your walking around with them. Although it's not like one would be carrying them around all day long like it was a purse. :grin:
