IMHO one of the most underrated cue builders in the world today. His work has always been flawless, and I had a talk with a WELL known cuemaker who wondered the same thing I did. He builds a lot less per year than some, and gets overlooked way too much.

Maybe people think he rode the coattails of a legend, but trust me, Jims work will stand next to anyones.

I really like his cues. They are made to perfection, and hit a ton. Rod.

he's top of my list also joe i saw a nice wrappless 4 pointer here and want it,I think my cue will b a wrappless white or sugtree
 
Terrific pair of James White cues.
If you ever get out to try them, let me know how the steel joint Hoppe compares the the piloted ivory.

I can't believe it, both cues have the same exact hit. They play very solid, with very little deflection.:thumbup:

Not to add to your James White addiction but you should try one of his solid f-f ivory jointed cues, 3/8-10.
Super sharp lively hit, like playing pinball.
I've never played with a steel jointed James White but I played with a piloted ivory for 2-years...recently retired.

My monster 3/10 pin 10 point was solid ivory. Pinball is right.LOL.
