I said above than you have to Bar, Room Owners, and Tour Director who for the life of things can not figure out why people are avoiding playing in their Room, Bar, or Tournament when there are like 13,000 Player listed in the AZ Rating Books.

But honestly how many times has one of these Bar, Room Owners, and Tour Director approached you personally and quested you personally why do come out and play. That is a very fair observation.

If I was a Bar, Room Owner, or Tour Director I would be seeking customer feedback to build business not operate under a 1990's business plan in 2011.

Cowboy, I read on another post a wish that you go on to have a million posts. I'm sure that JB cases wishes so too, as you seem to be a schill for them.

But put that aside for now. I want to talk bout a particularly ignorant quote of yours on this thread. That is;
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think you have the sand baggers who go from Bar to Bar, or room to Room hiding their true speed, faking physical impairments, constantly taking second or third money and openly bragging about how they are hiding their speed, and stealing second or third money.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
1) What good would faking a physical impairment be if the alleged impostor still shoots good?

2) How can you be hiding your true speed if your constantly cashing in tournaments and, on top of that, bragging about it?

3) If a supposed bagger is always winning 2nd or 3rd place I would say
that the real culprit is the guy winning 1st place money.

You can't call a player a bagger just because he occasionally wins or cashes in a handicapped tourney. THAT'S WHAT A HANDICAP IS SUPPOSED TO DO, DAMMIT! Can't you get that through your head?

This is just more evidence that you haven't got a clue of what you are talking about.

Everyone in Arizona who plays, or even gets remotely involved in pool, knows that the ratings list may have 13,000 names on it, but that the list has been built over a 20-year period, so no one knows for sure how many (or how few) players on that list are still active. But you make it sound like it would be a simple matter for a room owner to walk out on the street and bump into several pool players and then ask them, "Hey, how come you don't ever come and play in my tournaments?"

Once again, CocoBruce Cowboy, you are posting criticism that is destructive, not constructive. You're saying that the bar owners, pool room owners, and tournament directors are too dense to know anything about their own business but that you - Mr. No Experience Of Any Kind - do. (Oh, excuse me, you have mentioned before that you do have a friend who used to be in the bar business in Phoenix. Now there's some great qualifications for everyone to consider!)

If you really do know so much about how to run profitable tournaments, how come you don't own a bar or pool room yourself?

Roger
