I'm at wits end trying to get the PPV that I want to watch. I have NEVER been able to get any PPV on my PC where the connection goes to "interface.audiovideoweb.com" or "audiovideoweb.com". It never connects, it always times out and says it cannot connect to either of those 2 sites, thus I cannot watch the shane/earl match of any of the accustats as they go thru the same place. I have Charter cable at their highest connect rate so its not that. I have used both ie8 and now ie9, no difference. I am running win7. I have DLed both firefox and oracle, no difference. With some expert help, we have deleted history, cookies, reset this and reset that, changed all the known security settings from zero to the highest and makes no difference. I do not run any ad blockers or extraneous software, just what comes with win7. To make it even stranger, my wifes PC is running Vista and she can't connect with that site either, which leads me to believe that its Charter's cable modem or their connection that is causing the problem since both PC's go thru the same cable modem. I have called Charter 3 times now with this problem and of course they say it's not them since I can connect to the internet, thats all they care about. Does anyone on here have any ideas (practical)of what to do to resolve this problem? Thanks in advance. PS for the few that will say something real asanine, please send me first class round trip tickets to your house and stock up on Chivas Regal and steaks, as I will come to your house to watch PPV's every time I want to lol.

I have had problems like that in the past viewing the windows media player based streams (rather than Silverlight encoded) that Accu-stats has used for PPV through that audiovideoweb, but never TAR's for some reason (maybe they use Flash). One away around it was in the PPV stream window that pops up, if it times out or doesn't connect, try coping the URL web addess for that window, and then go and open up directly in Windows Media Player seperately and while using WMP go to the File menu and select Open URL, and just paste the URL there and see if that will launch the PPV. I have had to do this for the last few Accu-stats PPVs and it has worked everytime but this may not help you with TAR if they run Flash through their PPV.

I signed up for this match and so far i get(interface audiovidioweb) it says loading but nothing ever comes up. now there not online right now but i'm still wondering if this will work.

I asked you this several times last night on the chat with no response, is there possibly a firewall that is blocking you from viewing streaming media. This would be common from a connection at work, for example. An interesting test would be to view it successfully from a friends home with their laptop. Then bring their laptop to your house and try again. If it works at their house, but not yours on the same laptop, then it's something on your network. If it works on their laptop at both locations, then it's something with your computer(s).

Sorry Mr. Hoppe, I was in and out many times trying different "fixes". I know you and I tried many things before, all to no avail. I am retired so I am not a work. Both PC's are at my home. My sisterinlaw is bringing over her laptop within the next week and I will see if I can get to interface.audiovideoweb.com thru her laptop. That is the only site that I cannot connect to, to the best of my knowledge. The only firewall that i have is the one built into win7, and all of the related settings are set at "medium", but I have gone from zero to the highest setting, all to no avail. Please note, its not that I can't get the video, or even sign up for it, I can't even get to the site that the PPV link sends me to. Really strange.
