Earl's chirping after lock up safe by Shane
Shane dogs another shot.... Earl returns the favor and dogs the 9.......Shane wins 82-74
It will take a miracle finish by Shane now. Don't know if he has it in him.
Well, there was a little guy named Alex who was in this same spot a couple years ago and he pulled it through.
And Shane was in this spot against Donny Mills and he pulled it through.
And let's not forget that guy Cesar Morales who was down 17 games going into the last day against Earl for 100k who pulled it off to win 120-117

Little run by Shane, some self destruction by Earl, rolls here and there.
When Earl gets to 90 and Shane has 80 then I will be about ready to stick a fork in Shane.

Earl has been muttering for the entire rack about how nobody cheers for him and the fans cheer for the wrong reasons and how shane doesn't know wtf he's doing and nobody recognizes this was lucky and so on. They all just cheered bigtime for his win but he feels it's sarcastic. Hard to win with the guy.
Wow Earl came with a couple great shots for the first break n run that I've seen by either player.

Fair enough. Postpone the match then. If Earl wins this then lets see if they accept the match up on the 9 footer as promised and see what happens.
For the record I am thoroughly enjoying watching Earl dominate on this table. Shane has no excuse since he's been there a week prior and had time to learn the table. John Schmidt just commented on how tough this table is and Earl is running out a lot on it.

85 75 earl, and it's looking hopeless. John S. opines that a 10 game lead on this table is like a 20-25 game lead in normal 10 ball". There are no 5 packs here. Probably never be another 2 pack.

man this is killing me. Earl dogged a short-rail shot and rattled it out... he slammed his cue stick down for at least the 10th time, somehow his shaft isn't broken. Then slammed the butt down for at least the 9th time really hard. Then flipped off his headphones and slammed them into the floor (John S: "delta airlines is NOT gonna be happy about that, those headphones are expensive")... also he raped a cube of chalk.
