Oops! Oh yeah...pending receipt of payment...the cue is SOLD!

Lisa

Lisa, I'm really sorry to hear you sold that cue. If you are unemployed and thinking that you have to sell everything, I can promise you that selling one pool cue is not going to help - I've seen this happen many times before. The only time to sell your pool cue is if you're gambling and about to get taken outside and stomped to death, or if you don't need the money at all (which means you're thinking sort-of sanely).

In any case, hope you get back on your feet soon and get your cue back.

Yeah well....considering that I have still yet to find work...

Actually, I did get hired for a job about a week after selling the cue. Trained and was told everyone was delighted with my work, then get a phone call telling me that the owner would rather have a man in that position. So, now I have to initiate a sexual discrimination lawsuit.

Also, my previous employer has apparently told unemployment some lies, and my benefits were denied. By law, he is supposed to be sending me copies of everything that he has sent to unemployment...to date, I have received nothing...so now we go to arbitration.

In the mean time...I have had nothing coming in. So, unfortunately, I did what I had to do. I have sold off everything save one...and I can live with that.

Unfortunately I'm in a similar situation right now too Lisa. Wondered if everything panned out and you were able to get the cue back. Did it work out in your favor?
