I was walking around the SBE last year when I ran into Pete Calabrese. I asked him if I could still buy a "Mini Buffer" - even though I heard they were out of production. He took my name/address saying he wasn't sure if he had any. A week after that, Pete sent one to my address and never asked me for a penny.
This little thing has worked excellent for me all year long. I recently picked up a Diamond Ball Polisher (the single platter version) at this year's SBE, so I no longer need my mini buffer.
The pads need to be replaced or thoroughly washed - but it's nothing a trip to Home Depot can't fix, I'm sure. This thing is a small white bucket that holds 3 balls and comes with an attachment for a power drill. The only negative is that you can only do 3 at a time; however, that's WAY better than doing it by hand.
Anyways, I wanted to pass it forward and send it to someone who really needs it (just like I was in dire need of something a year ago). If you're "that guy" --- be the first to speak up in this thread and I'll send it to you.
