***** SOLD, Thanks for looking.

This is a POOL CUE, complete with Radial Pin and Pro-Taper shaft. All in All .... A very nice job, resulting in a lovely pool cue.

The cue is full spliced cocobolo (I think) into maple forearm. There are natural fiber rings on the butt at the joint and the butt cap. The "RK" decal is barely visible on the butt cap (See photo). You can see more of Ron's work at: http://www.caromcues.com/catalog.htm

Both Butt and Shaft are 29" long yielding a 58" cue.

Butt weighs 1# 0.5 ounces, shaft weighs 3.6 ounces, yielding a total cue weight of 20.1 ounces.

The cue is used and shows signs of wear, but is in very good condition.

$250.00 shipped ConUS.

Can you reduce the oz 's on this cue...????

Okay, I opened the butt end of this cue. There is a weight bolt in the cue (see photo). But, it is an aluminum bolt and only weights 0.3 ounces.

I checked the depth of the hole that the weight bolt was in and it is pretty deep (swallowed a hole pencil, so, at least 7 1/2" deep).

So, the short answer is; "Yes, but very little.". Thanks for the inquiry.

This is a POOL CUE, complete with Radial Pin and Pro-Taper shaft .... Someone, Somewhere, Sometime, Somehow along the way converted the classic Ron Kilby 3 Cushion cue to a Pool Cue, complete with Radial Pin and Pro Taper shaft.

The shaft may not be original. It is impossible to tell if the tenon was cut off and the Radial Pin thread drilled, bored, and threaded into the remaining maple.

The conversion was DEFINITELY done by a Professional!

The butt however, shows where the original threaded tenon was glued into the butt, then the Radial Pin installed.

Ron makes a good cue, I have not seen many pool cues made by him, but if they are like his 3-Cushion cues they are great.

Good luck with your sale

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, this is a very nice, very 'solid' cue. The wood to wood joint give the cue a nice feel and solid hit.
