are there any bracket's for this tournament in Las Vegas?. Are there any updates? .It started today,and it will be running thru the weekend.This is a bar table tourny,with $6,000 for first.And a very good calcutta.Thanks in advance for any updates...........

This event raised around $25,000. for player's auction. Of course, SVB was the first blind bid and Louis Ulrich for second.
This is much of in house event and I doubt there is bracket on line. I am not in Vegas right now, but maybe someone will be nice enough to post a pic of bracket.

I stopped by yesterday and watched svb play c harper. Svb broke and ran the first 5 racks. 6th rack broke made a ball than pushed out. Harper jumped hit the ball and sold out. Svb ran out. Svb won 6-0. The whole match took less than 15 minutes.

I guess what people don't realize is that this event used to be a local event that received notoriety and grew into larger than life.
It was never intended to be a national event!
It was a bar table tournament with 4 tables with in house rules!
Please, don't go over the board thinking this was supposed to be certain way with certain rules!
If you want to play - go ahead by all means - but don't show up thinking something wasn't right for you. It is what it's always been. Same rules, just different people! Just remember that and everyone will be happy!

sunnyday,i do understand excactly what type of tournament this is.the only reasons for my post on this tourny was cuz i have freinds from my room playing in it,and the internet allows us to reach for infomation we might not be able to obtain by other means of communication.But thank-you for your insight.With a field limited to 64,and first paying $6,000.00,and then the calcutta invovled,there is about $25,000.00 floating around this tourny if not more.I'm sure alot of people are interested.

I can't see how anybody would be dissatisfied to how this tournament is ran.
This is one of the best run tournament that I have ever been to. Nice tables, matches on time, great staff, friendly management. I'm just sorry that I could not attend this year. This tournament has been one of my favorites for years.

when SVB was beating 'kingkong', kingkong started complaining about the way shane was racking to creat an advantage to himself..He was loud with his complaining.he called the TD but the TD ignored kingkong.After he got beat kingkong lamented some more with his friends saying how shane was giving himself racks that favored him.

King Kong has been around a long time so I have to think there was something to this. Maybe one of his friends will chime in and tell what's up.
Kingkong was saying that corner ball is getting pocketed on every break and also the rack was packed loose.The TD did not agree with his argument.

I had a guy do this to me recently in a bar table event, just because the corner ball goes in on 7ft table with huge pockets does not mean you are cheating the rack.
He was probably trying to pull an earl and shark shane
