"So no it was not a WPBA second chance tourney, it was open to all females in the building. That's what we were all told anyway." ~MikeyFrost
I was waiting for a comment like the one above. I completely understand your point, however, it was held in conjunction with an event that the WPBA was putting on. You aren't going to go to an actual pro event and see this type of thing happen, so why is it ok for it to have happened at a venue such as this?
I am all for having fun, letting loose, but when there are other people involved (such as players who are out of the main event TRYING to make some money back to help with some expenses) I can see how this behavior could be disruptive for them, and not to mention, very disrespectful. Just because those players weren't acting that serious about the 2nd chance tournament doesn't mean the other players felt the same way.
I hope nobody takes my opinion the wrong way. I am not bashing these girls - I am merely stating my opinion on the subject - was this behavior justified? No, in my opinion, it was not.
See Put_UP_OR_SHUT_UP for further information, j/k. It was a $20 entry with $500 added tourney so you are right the money was pretty good to win that race to 5 tourney. It was prob close to $1k for 1st in that one, maybe a little less so I feel you on making money for expenses at least on that one.
Expenses are brutal to fade!
