Best sneaky pete

As you can tell by the replies there is no best sneaky. I have a players cost 50 bucks and plays great. Spend the rest on table time:D
 
Mike Lambros has some right now that look really nice W/ the ultra joint!!

I have a old lambros maybe 91 0r 92. plays amazing, it is a flat faced joint not the ultra joint.

Paul Mottey 92 with an ivory ferule that is amazing .

Mike Stacey that shockingly plays just as good as the other 2.

Hard to go wrong with a Huebler.

Huebler. If you can find one in good shape. Look for a sig brown bumper, they were a bit better built from what I've herd.
 
Mike Bender made the best playing sneaky pete ever made. Problem is, he only made 12 of them in the mid 90's. Anybody who knew anything and played one said it was the best, better than Scruggs, Harris, anybody. Very rare. He made a very few new ones last year on a special consignment and I'm sure they played just as good as the old ones. I was lucky enough to see one for sale a few years ago and grabbed it, and was lucky enough to have had David Paul Kersenbrock make a shaft for it. Amazing player.

EDIT: I just noticed that Martin (Jazznpool) is selling the last new Bender sneaky (wrapless) in the Wanted/For Sale forum. It is Afzelia into Birdseye, blank made by John Davis, and is gorgeous. Thread is bumped from a few months ago, and this is a great opportunity for somebody.
