taking cue case on airline

I was kidding when I said that....But, I just did buy an airplane this week....my avatar was taken yesterday with my new baby.
It would suck to have to worry about your cue when flying though. I know alot of people that have never had a problem, but my luck would be I would be the only jackhole that would get his cue damaged or stolen out of 100 people with cues..
The Airline wants you to check you Cue Cases for their fun,
Yeah, that looks like it would be a lot of fun. A friend of mine rebuild one of those glider planes, where you sit out in the open and it looks like it could fall apart at any time... haha He loves the thing and flys it all of the time. I don't think I would have the huevos to go up in it.
I carry on my cue case....
I wrap up my cues really well and put them in a hard suitcase between my clothes and carry my cue case onboard... It's too easy for airline personnel to recognise that a cue case is probably valueable and walk away with it.
I like to keep honest people honest....and make not so honest people have to work hard at even knowing about my stuff.... The xray operators aren't the ones that have an opportunity to walk away with stuff so I don't worry about the suitcase being xrayed....

My suitcase isn't big enough, and I'm carrying it on anyways. The only reason I have checked luggage is because of the cues
So my checked luggage just looks like a camping chair, hopefully they don't bother with it.
I started doing the exact thing about 6 or 7 years ago. I have a Miami Dolphins fold out chair. I wrap the cue case in a beach towel, then slip the chair cover over the whole thing. It protects the cues very well and the case doesn't get any scratches from the handlers.
This year, I'm driving up to Vegas with a couple teammates, no need for checking anything. :thumbup:
Is there any limit on what size luggage can be that you put your cue's in ? I was thinking of buying a 36" duffle bag on rollers..Cause my case is 32" . Just to pack the case inside with my clothes all around it. I was just wondering if they would say the 36" is to large ? <> ED

I also loan it to pool players..been a lotta places without me.
So you dont think I will have a problem useing a 36" dufflebag ? I didnt know if it was a certain size limit or not ? All I could find was a 32" or a 36" and the 36" is a nicer bag with more pockets...<< ED
