Efren Reyes old Meucci cue...

So I have the color of money vol. 1 efren vs earl 1996, that was when Efren was signed with meucci. Any way I am in love with the Meucci he was shooting with I have never seen anything like it but I cant find any info on it or pictures. So I am just curious if some one knows anything about it. I am sure it was most likely a custom Meucci an thats why I can't find anything, but it never hurts to ask so.. I wonder if Meucci would make one like it...

Yes, Efren was paid to use that cue but when he quit getting sponsored cue money he went with a Judd cue. So, if you are looking for the best shooting cue in the world, then call up Judd. I have one and it is the nuts.

Its funny you say that because I acculy just bought one the Judd jt1 same as Efren I know... and I am amazed, its what I refer to as brains and beauty, only thing is I bought it brand nused and it came with a z-shaft sponge bob on here had Judd match it, but I am thinkin about calling Judd for a shaft. I am not sure if thats necessary the z hits pretty good but on the other hand I would like to have the full Judd experience.

I feel you brother, try scrolling the for sale ads on here thats how I got mine. you would be suprised how many for sale go unnoticed mine was posted for sale like 3 months before i found it so keep the faith.
 
Efren's JT-1.............

I dont know that many people know this but the JT-1 that Efren had has absolutely different ringwork than what Judd makes standard on all other JT-1 models. The silver rings are way thicker and the ringwork within the silver rings is long alternating blocks of cocobolo and maple instead of what people get when they order a JT-1 which is comprised of thin silver rings with tan phenolic within that has 3 veneers I believe of brown and orange color looking veneers. Its hard to find a pic of of his old judd but there are videos out that end up getting really nice close ups of it. Some pro basketball player in the philippines owns the cue now, it was given to him by Efren

That makes sense I know his que perfect cue is different than all the rest of the efren series que perfect cues, but I didnt know the judd was different, thanks for the info. Oh hey I finally got internet for my pc so I can send those pics to you of my bustamante. my phone doesnt just have the juice to upload pics on the net aparently but hey it looks really cool though good thing I only paid 400 for it galaxy my arse...

He got that shaft from Alex of Stix. It was on a ebony JT1 cue. He kept the shaft after he got the maple JT1. The original maple JT1 Efren had eventually ended up with Efren good friend Glen Capacio ( a basketball player great from there ).
Efren has a new 62" Judd awaiting him here with Alex.

Sounds cool.

So-we'll see fewer of the 'can't quite reach it/lay cue on the table/bump bumper with heel of hand' shots from Efren? bummer /(btw-who had this shot first?Efren or Mike Massey?)

Probably will allow him to reach more shots-although that left hand ain't too bad.:D

Hear any Efren itinerary?

Looks like he won't make it to the tourney in Mountain View, last I heard.
