warpage issue with purchase, what would u do?

cue

I think that when someone sells someone something not as said should recieve neg. feedback regardless if they give a complete refund which they should do because how many times does the recieving customer just accept the deal and move on. By giving neg. feedback it lets the rest of us know that the person selling is not always up front at that time and maybe over time and future deals its lets the buyer decide if that was just a one time bad deal or is it a regular thing with said seller. As we all know the best sometimes go bad and keeping track of that at the time that things start to go bad with said person could save others from bad dealings. Well that just my thoughts but what do I know any way??

give us all a break, get the stuff back to the seller get your money back and forget it
So there was a mistake,I personally would rather deal with the good natured seller than any of you vindictive Az complainers

Why jump on a guy over a little problem that he offered to fix?

The seller stepped up and offered a refund, what more can he do.
I've seen just the opposite happen on this forum.
The buyer was lucky he was dealing with a good guy like jlrowe.
These things happen in cue buying, especially on package deals.
The way a problem is dealt with after the fact is important in my opinion.

It's the nature of the beast. This fine group here sees a cluster of balls,
and all they think to do is to break them any way they can.

I'm with you Dean. Unwind the deal, count your blessings and move on to the next. Save the pound of flesh for another day.

Thanks

It happened to me by a guy on here who has an outstanding rep. I won a raffle and received a warped cue. He is friends/partners or something with the cuemaker so he said he would get me a new cue. I waited for a couple months before I ended up with a piece of crap I had to give am extra 200 for. When I finally got it both ferrules was cracked. I paid extra for those ferrules. I was supposed to be mailed the ferrules and never got them. I had threating his itrader to get 40 bucks sent to me and I ended up looking like the bad guy. There is much more to this storie if you want to hear to protect yourself pm me.

the seller did not have the money to refund me do to tough times, he said he will refund me $75 in 2 weeks when he gets paid and we will resolve this. A warped cue is actually still worth something contrary to popular belief.

responsibility

At the end of the day, it is the burdon of the seller to provide any and all disclosure of what is being sold....end of story on this point. The easy solution would be to disclose all information, good and bad, so that the right buying decision can be reached. When it comes to physical condition, it either is or is not.

resolution

The seller of this item has made this right, not only did we come to an agreement with the $75, but the seller doubled the amount I requested to satisfy me for this deal, paying me $150 instead! What a top notch guy! This is more than what 99% of sellers would ever do in this situation IMO, JLrowe is not only a top notch seller, but truly a world class seller IMO. Thanks for the great deal JLrowe. Peace
