AZB,

I am seraching for any sort of help or instructions for assembling this table. Our MWR here just picked us up two brand new ones and I am the only one here with anything resembling knowledge about pool or tables. Albeit my knowledge is not that extensive.

I am trying to locate instructions for assembly, I am sure I can "figure it out" however, I want to make sure I am doing right and don't end up with extra parts at the end. :D

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Carl

You might be better off posting this in the Talk to a Mechanic section.
Good Luck

Thanks...Took everything out of the boxes, and just went off instinct. Not too bad. I took pictures, Ill upload later. :D Just in case anyone is interested. :)

If you got it together and it looks like a pool table you did good...I'll be schocked if you don't catch a little flack on here about the "Slatron" table.

LMFAO. Hey, I didn't buy it, and over here, beggers can't be choosers. lmao. They didn't consult me before the purchase. Im just the one putting it together. :D

So everyone, take it easy about the Slatron. :) if I get to hit a ball, Ill be happier then the guys on here when a CTE thread pops up. Ohhhh. That made me laugh. jking of course.

Carl;

Looking forward to seeing pics of the two new tables.

It really surprises me that the good folks at US Army procurement didn't get you guys a couple of Diamond Pro Ams. :D :D :D

Best,

No harm intended. Probaly a good thing you didn't post this in the Mechanic's section though. Mention a Slatron table in there and the zingers would start flying.

I realize that you are not in the best part of the world to play pool, or anything else for that matter. Enjoy your table, but above all else, stay safe.

But really, what DID you do with the left over parts???

This goes back to Murphy's Laws -- specifically, the Law of Inanimate Reproduction:

"If you take something apart and reassemble it enough times, eventually you will wind up with two of them."

Picture as promised...

Worked on it a bit today. here is what I got. I think it resembles a pool table so far. :D

If you want to get them started in the mechanic's forum, check out this advisory from the setup instructions.

Give it about a month for the parts to settle, and re-torque and re-level the table.

Good luck with your tables.

If you want to get them started in the mechanic's forum,
...

Nah, we're aware of where OP is and the fact there's no craigs list or ebay with gold crowns in kabul.
If anything we'll do our best to assist with any setup questions he has. Slateron is better then NoTable. :D

Thanks for all the help...However, Upon levelling, grouting, sanding and smoothing, I realized they forgot to include the felt...ON BOTH TABLES!!!. :(

Im depressed now, I am going to try to contact the company and see if they will send it, however, since I am not the purchaser, Im not sure they will.

If anyone knows anyone with felt laying around, were not picky over here, except the rails are deep red (maroon) color already. I will gladly pay out of my own pocket for the material and shipping.

:(
