Paul, just a FYI if you want your email to be kept out of the public eye you should remove it from the bottom of that post. Hate to see you get signed up for some spam. And thanks for posting this.

Does a US Patent hold up in China ??

I've talked with People who do travel ,example(with a fishing reel from JP. They got to china(had it replicated, and come back with the same reel made in China, or Korea, high quality ideas and Materials but the (cheap labor). What Cue parts were being made in china already ??!! (shafts)?? mark

I worked for a cycling retailer and it was quite an issue to deal with manufacturers that made things for us...we'd contract 100k units and they'd keep the machines running well past that.

Counterfeits are part of our society, and they are there because money can be made from them. Ladies Handbags are a big counterfeit item, and the list is to long to list all of item being counterfeited.

Arizona has a UNIQUE LAW if you are caught selling Counterfeit, it is a CLASS SIX FELONY you get charge with.

Last time I was to Bike Week in Scottsdale, the COPS were hooking up a vendor selling FAKE OKLEY Sunglasses. OKley has people who work for them trying to stop the selling of knockoff.

When I go to Mexico I see all knid of counterfit item like Okleys, and Designer Purses for sale. Reason is they sell to tourists. Customs Service Officers does squate about it, and they are part of the problem when people return to the USA with their counterfeit.
