Return of my lost pool cue

I received a phone call last night from a pool buddy who saw the signs I put up in the pool hall. He said another buddy found it laying on the table where I was shooting (obviously out of sight under the rail or I would have noticed it when putting away my equipment). He put it in his case for safekeeping. I am getting it back tomorrow...YAY! I am so happy to be getting it back. I thank all of you for your suggestions. I will take pictures of it this time, just in case next time it really does get stolen.

P. S. I wish he had turned it in to the office/bar. It would have saved me a lot of angst.
 
CONGRATS!!! IMHO most people in the USA are Honestly if they were not we would need more prisons. But honestly thing like what happen with your cue being returned happen daily, but the News Media for the most part does not report Good News, except on Slow Bad NEWS DAYS!

Can't you just be satisfied with getting it back.
 
I would rather the honest guy held onto it than take a chance that the guy behind the bar is honest.
 
Congrats on getting it back. A friend of mine found a Schon up on the rack with the house cues near the end of a night at a bar. They took it home and came back the next day seeking the person who forgot it. She found the guy, who was so grateful for getting his cue back. He said it was a gift from his son. He was so happy he got it back. He got her a lot of drinks that night :)
 
like when mine was returned the next day, "now you can breathe again". :thumbup: congratulations, now we can again have some faith in knowing that there are some good guys out there!
