A big thanks to Mark for the 14.1 Challenge in Vegas from the players in 'Nate's Great Straight Pool League' here in Oregon. Having a straight pool event of any kind at the major events like the BCAPL, the SBE, and Derby City provides exposure and increased interest for this great game, and fuel for this discussion. I don't think anyone expected a 527, but it's neat that there was a big carrot out there just in case. Mr. Walsh-I don't suppose there's anyone selling reproductions of that affidavit anywhere is there? Man, how cool would THAT look next to our 14.1 board?

You can get one from the Smithsonian. You can download a copy free or you can purchase a much better digital copy from them, take it to Kinko's and get it printed up nice and frame it like I did.
