Ike

LOL, somebody needs to tell Ike that. In his bio he said he has been a full time professional pool player for over 20 years.

Ike plays at more of a semi pro speed, {no offense intended Ike} not Pro level. While he is subject to win matches against anyone, at any given time, he still plays below that level. Besides that, someone playing at Pro speed is more of a judgement call, that should be left to someone with the ability to know the difference. Something was said about Richie Richeson playing in an amateur event too. Richie is a great player, but still plays a tad under the Pro speed too. Both him and Ike are considered amateur players by BCAPL and VNEA organizataions. Shannon has a tough job, having to decide who can or cannot play. Not to mention, someone always complaining about how things should be done. All tours need a little "constuctive criticism", to help them stay in a positive direction. But, like they said, if you don't like the competition, no one is forcing you to put up your money and play.

But your overstatement invalidates your point!

If you want to be literal about it, there are probably less than 50 people that I would qualify as a professional in America. I don't believe Ike is one of them (which was my original point - that is still validated by the larger consideration of "pros")

There may be 5-10 that make a good living at it and not just scrape by.

Ike plays in SBE too so did Dee Adkins 2 years ago just gotta play better and take advantage of any if any mistake they make
