Well well, after spending 45 minutes reading the entire thread, I have to say it is a interesting one. At the end I could not hold myself from adding a few words.
This is for master9baller (Brian Lipes):
After ten pages of discussion about your story of how a guy ended punching you in the face (drunk or not, APA or not), and you expressing your initial frustration if whether the APA was going to acknowledge or not your teams winning and the trip to Las Vegas, and your complete explanation of how it all happened. It is clear to me that you also where in fault and by no means want to recognize it. It is hard to agree of committing a mistake on a public forum, it requires from a person being humble in heart and open to others opinions, which obviously you are not. I apologize if you feel offended because of my words but I'm speaking the truth out of my heart.
"The biggest battle is the one against ourselves" Mahatma Ghandi ones said.
According to Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory of personality, personality is composed of three elements. These three elements of personality--known as the id, the ego and the superego--work together to create complex human behaviors. Obviously the part of you talking in this thread is the SUPEREGO. Which provokes you to insult and diminish all those who are in disagreement with you.
So, to not make this long, Mr. Brian, I invite you to review yourself and recognize that you also are in fault in this case and to review your own behavior.
You should also APOLOGIZE to all the gentlemen in this thread who were kind enough to share their opinion on your situation. It is irritating to read your arrogant posts of how good you played, and why those in disagreement are a NIT.

PS, I'm not a NIT, and I can also play.
This may all be true, psychology theory and all. But why would I post if I had done wrong? If I had done anything wrong I would just say so now to save face. Obviously defending myself to strangers is costing me more than just coming clean. Now there's some logic in that right?
Are you guys all telling me that drunk people can only do reckless and irresponsible actions when they are provoked? What planet do you live on because it isn't here. More alcohol related aggression everyday. Certainly possible a man could snap because he lost a trip to Vegas and looked badly in front of his team. The opponent was highly regarded in his area as a player, who knows what his internal reactions were after losing 7 in a row. Alcohol inhibits the restraint that he may have otherwise shown. I can recall countless stupidities that I have untaken when drunk, why I don't choose to drink in public anymore.
