We could. but here's the thing..............
First, I'll tell you a little about myself.
I've played in the BCA nationals, team and individuals, for quite a few years, the last time being in 2008. During that time, I've cashed consistently in the top 10% in individuals, and been able to help pull my teams into the money on a regular basis. My rating the last time I played in the local league was a 10, which is the highest you can go. Oh, and I cash regularly in local tournaments.
So there's an idea of the type of player I am. I think if we ever were to play, the outcome would be tough to call.
That being said, I would ask you for the 7, the breaks, and any other spot I could get. With the spot, my chances of winning have improved substantially.
As soon as you want to change the spot, guess what ? We're done playing. And your arrogance would have most likely put money in my pocket.
I tell you this only because I have no desire to play you. Go ahead, say what you will. Tell yourself I'm a nit, an APA 3, or whatever else you need to convince yourself that you may be the better player.
And you may very well be. I'm not disputing your abilities on the table. But you'll never find out how we'd match up against each other.
Brian, maybe before the second page of this thread, you could have had a chance to play me.
After reading your comments in this thread, I liken the concept of playing you to a car that needs too much work.
You're just not worth the time, effort, and headache.
Geez all that talent and no heart. What a shame. Well if you get a heart transplant you know where I am. And yeah you can have the 7, but what do you do when you lose the first set?
