Well Bud, your first indication that it wouldn't be worth 50 dollars is that the Seller is Carl's Cues.

He is the A SS Hat extraordinaire of EBay sellers. Take a look at his store.
99.9% of his items are absolute junk. he sells seconds. Hes a junk man, period.

I have emailed him a couple of times, the last time, I asked him how he can sleep at night knowing that he sells junk to people who sometimes don't know any better.

Here is a pic of Mr. and Mrs. A SS Hat. I'm convinced this guy would push an old lady down to pick up a nickel.

I bought one of these shafts but i only payed a dollar or two for it it was straight but when i got it the tip was about to fall of ended up changing it the finsh has chipped of and the joint collar is soft it has mushroomed out but it does not play to bad i keep it with a cue at the bar i go to.

I bought one years ago off the same guy, it wasa 5/16x18 thread , I got it for a extra shaft but used it with sneaky butt abd it became the playing shaft. It played very stiff and I could pwer draw the cue ball from one end of the table to the other no problem. I only paid about $30 total for mine , it wasnt bad to keep in the truck for a beater...<< ED
