Dawg...the last conversation I had with Glen he told me that after he finished my install he would be heading up north (near the Canadian border). I'm sure he was talking about you. Sometimes frustration does set in but Glen assured me not to worry. I guess I can understand why my family and friends might not understand the total situation. But then again, it's only me that has to understand. Rest assured...your in "Good Hands with Allstate".

We can only hope,it`s like a kid at Christmass,lol.It`s like a paper run,if the deliveries are far apart the pickins are slim,if it`s apartments or row housing your cut adds up quick.Lets take pics and post on this thread our great tables,delivered,calibrated and installed by The Real King Cobra....

I think if he can find a few minutes every day to go on the forum that he can find 5 minutes to call me. I have made previous plans for our summer vacation and need to know when he is coming to New York. Now you know why I get aggravated with him.
Shakey,Glen is still in Houston,finnishing up,it`s a long way from there to your place and a whole lotta places inbetween.Guess you should go an enjoy your vacation and relax,even get drunk and go to bluesfest.I would imagine that by Sept. he should be coming this way.I`am 57 myself and not in to good of shape either and just want to have a table before I cash in my chips.The renovater came to day to remove a partial wall to make room for the table,after that I`am ready for Glenn.Please let me know when he arrives,it`s been 4 months now!

Sorry, but I don't answer "Private" or "unknown" phone calls as I'd like some kind of idea as to who's calling me...before hand. I get a lot of sales calls is why.

Since my calls don't through to you can you PM me as to when you plan on heading to New York. The last conversation we had you said you were heading back to the Diamond plant after they returned from summer vacation (the first week in July) and then on to New York with my table. Where do I stand now?
I'm currently finishing up hte work I have to do in TX this week and should be back to the factory by next week to load up and head up to NY. I'm not taking on any extra work as it is at this time, nor do I plan to....just interested in finishing up what was on my list of things to do once I got here is all.

The reason I need to know is because I will be away on vacation for 1 week in August and I want to make sure I'm home when you arrive. I will be gone from Aug. 8th thru Aug. 15th. Any time before or after these dates would work for me. Let me know.

I understand your concern. I am a fortunate owner of a table he has worked on. Trust me you will be satisfied with his work. And yes, "two weeks" can mean 2 months or two weeks. You want the best? The price is your patience. If you can't afford it, he'll make it right. Take a deep breath.

To show my appreciation for your paticents...as I've been up to my neck in finishing designing Diamond's 9ft straight rail billiards tables...built 4 of them at the factory...been waiting on the chance to build these tables for 11 years now...my plans are to be up to your place right after Diamond comes back of their first week of July summer vacation...as your table is at the Diamond factory right now. I have to finish what I've started with Diamond...as there's a lot riding on this project. Wish I could have made it up to your place sooner....so, to make it up to you...I'll throw in a set of Artemis cushions...and recalibrate the rails on your table to play at its very best...including the cost of the new Simonis Tour Blue 860HR cloth

Dang, you hit the jackpot Mr. Shakey. I don't know how GCIV's play, but my GCIII plays much better after Glen redid the rails and pocket angles. The pockets now accept balls when they should and reject them when they should. The Artemis cushions are great too - lively and bank true.
you should take your vacation, Glen will probably wait for you if your not home.
After talking with Glen, his visit to Rome, NY has been rescheduled for after I return from vacation...maybe I will be playing pool this winter after all :smile:
I also contacted a mechanic from here at the end of March to pick up,deliver and install a table,with the same "in a couple of weeks",that was six and a half months ago.He keeps promising and than ignores pm`s,this pattern seems to continue and when your hopes are up,he seems to do other jobs making me feel unimportant and the job irrelevant.In the waiting time I`ave removed a wall,drywalled and painted the room.Like Shakey at this point I have lost all interest in playing,considering selling my cue`s and cases,lol.Some members on the forum thinks this is funny,but it`s not there table or hard earned money!Unlike Shakey I do not want any free perks,I just want my table....and truthfully at this point I really don`t care.
Calm down Ian, passport will be in hand soon....it's not like driving across town to deliver your pool table...when it has to cross the border up into Canada.

Shakey,you were lucky to get your table delivered and installed.I`am still waiting and it`s been 9 months. I don`t have any idea on a time-line as I am on ignore mode,phone and e-mails,lol,Don`t even know where the table is and if it`s in somebody else`s house.Enclosed a pic of my living room,it`s been that way for 6 months,since i sold my Connelly table,as he was coming in a (couple of weeks).Also have had to go back on my pills because of the stress of it all,guess I should have paid a little more and had it 9 months ago.
