sounded familiar. Just annoys the sh1t out of me.

Mr. Hoppe-I didn't mean to piss you off. My point is what's the F'n difference between a cane vs a cue for onboard luggage.

SVB's recent lost baggage(cue) prompts an airline travel question.

TSA's webpage addresses ambulatory aids like walkers and canes. They get inspected. They get x-rayed. They then get stored-overhead? during the flight?

Canes and cues are similar in construction and size.

Do people have, use and travel with backup canes? Everyday canes vs special canes that may be more ornate or expensive.

I'm sure this has been discussed. This is not meant to disrespect those who need and use canes. Rather, that with a screw on handle, most butts and shafts might become functional canes in a pinch. And-travel the same?

There must be a way to allow carry-on cue travel. How about a locker somewhere on board during flight. Where do crutches get stored in flight?

It ought to be solvable-without major difficulty.

Just grousing about the inconvenience and inconsistency of treatment of what seem to be very similarly constructed objects-canes and cues-though their function is different.

I'm just whining. There must be more overpowering safety issues present that I don't see.
