Ralf,

I have a Tad with similar weights: 14.3oz butt w/matching 4.575oz shafts, so this could be totally accurate. Of course it's not my cue just noting that it's not out of the ordinary for Tad.

Tad seldom used ivory
it has always been understood that the name Tad on the cue was worth more than the few ounces of ivory that were not there
the work is amazing,the designs and mother of pearl makes this one of Tads best production so if you want one of the top cue makers of our or any time,this might be the best cue for your collection. Wasn't Tad the inspiration for Gina cues?

Gary Nolan is a truly great man to deal with,unless of course you decide to challenge his pool playing skills in a game of one pocket,This i do not reccomend,it didn't work for me

I have done much better buying his cues

Gary is the best guy to buy cues from because what he says about a cue is accurate and his cues are in perfect condition and nothing but top quality.He is a true and honest seller. This Tad is as good as it gets and a beautiful collectors piece. FastEddieF. wishing you and your family the best.

I have only ever seen one shaft that was that dense, It was 4.7 I recall, wasnt a Tad Shaft. Those are monster numbers for a shaft, I like dense shafts, its 1 in a 1000 I think to find a shaft that heavy if it has a pro taper and a 12.5mm tip.

If its a 15MM conical shaft then 135 grams would be easy to achieve. but thats not the case here, these are great shafts IMO. I perfer heavy shafts.
