Wow

I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MINE IN PERSON FEEL FREE TO POST THE PICTURES WHEN YOUR FINISHED JOHN :) A GREAT DAY TO ALL:thumbup:

What's that weight???

Should be be pretty light with no tubes!!!

I always thought tuff thick leather provided at great deal of protection with a very light weight!

Why not put the butts on the corners!!! and shafts in the middle??? Might layout better and allow 4x8 or 4x6!

6.7lbs full. 4.3lbs of cues and 2.5lbs of case. It is light. This case is made of two parts. The exterior shell and the interior sleeves. The sleeve are semi-rigid and when sewn to the leather shell they make it all one unit with good form. The configuration can be done in a variety of ways and the case just gets bigger as you add more cues. The downside however is that the more free space you add in the center the less "body" that the case has. As a 2x4, which is really two 1x2 sleeves sewn to the sides the case works great. More capacity requires more engineering to get the same balance of rigidity and ease of use. But it's leather, foam, fiberboard, glue and fabric so we can play with it until we get it right.

Mason design

I got to see one of these designs up close and I really like it. Very sleek and clean looking but with the usual high level of protection and functionality. It's a great case design.
