This is a good match between Reyes and Earl back in 2001

In the intro, I recognize all of the players except the blond guy and the guy that is inspecting his cue. Who are those guys?

On a side note, I find the intro music very catchy- even though it is very simplistic and video-gamesque

Blonde would be Steve Knight and the one inspecting his cue is John Kucharo.
 
Steve Knight I believe was a snooker player that played some 9 ball in the 90's or maybe early 2000's. John Kucharo I think played around the same time, perhaps a bit earlier. He played in California I think. He had a MONSTER break. If I'm not mistaken, there are youtube videos of him breaking form the 2000 US Open 9 ball. Holy Crap can he hit them!! I think Kucharo did indeed take a break, though I remember hearing recently that he was returning?

Sorry for the low certainty of these ideas. That's all I know.

You are so right about the music being Catchy, I felt the same way as you before, and I thought its just me, it is very simple music, nothing special, but it keeps ringing in my ears, and everytime I put on a video tape from accu-stats or a DVD, I hear this intro and I smile, love it! Accu-stats are just a bunch of geniuses doing great job, Love them!

Also listen to the intro of their tapes back in the 93 to 95, it was also catchy.
