Good people do bad things. Worse yet, bad people try to be good for a while but always seem to fall back in to their core character. It's pretty basic psychology. Look at our prison system & all the "reformed" convicts that revert back to crime when the opportunity presents itself. I'm not saying Tommy, or whoever he is, is a bad guy or trouble. I'm just saying that it shouldn't be a surprise if he is because it's nothing uncommon. It's just baffling when you are on the receiving end.
IMO, the pictures don't lie. The pictures combined with the shipping address & phone numbers, ties to Engles cases & parts, etc., all point to one logical conclusion. I'm a pretty logical thinker & try looking at things from every angle to get a solid grasp of the situation before forming an opinion, and I cannot figure out any other plausible explanation.
A short story that gave me my first solid hint of this guy's character. New2youq's sold one of my cues. A year or so later, Tommy contacts Jamie telling him the cue is warped & wants Jamie to make good on it or else he'd post video of the warped cue on youtube. Yeah, seriously had video & tried blackmailing New2youq's. Jamie, of course, told him to go f*ck himself. So Tommy contacts me and is polite & smooth talking, not knowing that I had just hung up the phone with Jamie. Being that I already knew the guy was a piece of shit, and it was my cue, I told him to send back immediately & i'd build a new one. I did, and he quickly sold it for profit, as expected. So now I have the warped cue & an HONEST person has the new cue & loves it, no doubt feeling good about the flawless transaction they had with Tommy & confused about why he's doing all this now. In conversations with Tommy, I found out that he acquired the cue from the person who first bought it from Jamie. That person sold it to somebody overseas & had it shipped to Ca$h cues so they could ship it overseas. Then a deal was struck that Ca$h would keep the cue & send the overseas guy a Ca$h cue. Somehow the cue warped (which is bizarre because it was cored) and Tommy was stuck. So he reverted to criminal tactics to recover his loss. I let him off easy, knowing it would only be a matter of time before he screwed up huge. I kept my mouth shut about it until now, and am a bit humored at the opportunity to share the story. It's first hand & absolute true. So i'm not surprised a bit by Tommy's actions. Hopefully he gets what he justly deserves, whatever it may be.
And BTW, I didn't care about the warped cue being on youtube. Given the confusing history of the cue, it's hard to say why it was warped & was no longer my problem. But the fact that he considered & set in motion a plan to blackmail a business into giving him money says a lot about who he is at the core. It's also no surprise that he preached ethics & morals all the time. He was preaching what he likely wanted to be & struggled with in his own soul, and who he wanted people to perceive him as. Sorry for the long post. Just wanted to share that tid-bit & get it off my chest. I don't hate the guy or want bad for him. I think like most lifestyle criminals, it's a sickness just like any other illness & some folks recover where some do not. Would be nice to see him make right with himself & everybody else, but given that he has numerous alias', chances are good he'll just assume another identity & try again.
