CA$H Cues - Tommy's Contact Info

The trouble is "Tommy" represented himself on here as a cue maker. I joke with some of my friends that I am not a cue maker, but I play one on the internet. "Tommy" was who I had in mind when I started using that.

I warned Ralf about him a few years ago when Ralf asked me to send a cue to him so he could ship everything together. I told him I would ship it on my own because I did not trust him and wouldn't ship anything to him.

I don't know very many cue makers who don't get behind on orders, but most of us are accountable for our actions because we use our real names. It's easy for a coward like him to disappear because he is afraid to reveal his real identity.

This is also one of the reasons I will not answer any questions or help any cue maker who posts under an alias and won't sign his real name.

Hopefully the real cue makers involved here will be able to clear things up. Like I said before the cues I have seen from them have been flawless. I hope that they will be able to distance themselves from this fiasco soon.
 
Yes Tony you was right:bow-down::bow-down::bow-down: but I have MANY flawless Deals with Tommy, so I never think he is BAD, now I have learned my Lection:frown:

I was led to believe Hangemhigh worked for WCC/Cash cues. Which is why i ordered one of the ferruless shafts. It took 9 months to get with some oh... it will be done next week...

It's good that you finally got your shaft... some didn't. Tommy (Sam Engles) posted that those shafts weren't just shafts that had had tips glued on. He claimed, in fact, that other things were done to them.

Actually, they were just shafts without ferrules. The reason they were so good is the old growth, very fine shaft wood used and the precision used to make them. And not having a ferrule made for less deflection. They probably are very good playing shafts. Just that there was nothing special that Tommy did to their design. If any player wants one, I'm sure Jess would be happy to make them, probably at a better price since there is no middle man involved.

Btw just to throw a little damn gas on the fire but can someone tell me how the diary locks were supposed to be installed using the hardware provided? The rivets were too short to go through the double layer of tubing and one would have had to remove the liner to be able to put a rivet in anyway. Did anyone successfully install one of these locks?

BTW Roy Malott say that if Tommy is Sam then add the $850 he is owed for cases he never got to the amount that everyone else is out.

I'd sure like to know the real story here. From a voyeur's point of view. Also for the overseas people. YOU can file charges with your local police departments and they SHOULD know how to inform the local police department in Tommy/Sam's jurisdiction. That's what I was told anyway.

You can always just call the police there and see what they tell you.

And if you communicated through email (or telephone) then it's international wire fraud and the FBI has a place for that where you can also file charges if it comes to that. Get with Lisa, ridewiththewind, on here as she knows the links I believe.

Interesting... According to the City of Jackson's tax delinquency records, that mailing address is registered to Sam Engles.

you are not right about the Ferulle Less Shafts, they have a hole under the Fiberpad, we saw it after one Shaft is cracked here(not missused).
Waiting the new Shaft for warrenty (from Tommy not Jess)

Agree, there is a hole in there. My tip fell off because it was poorly glued.
 
If anybody is looking for a great ferrule-less shaft, Joe Callaluca makes a monster playing ferrule-less shaft; in my mind they are second only to Black Boar's. Funny, the last one Joe made for me was from an old growth blank from the McDaniel shop I got from Tommy. I don't wish illness or bad luck on anyone, but am still holding out for facts on Tommy.

Well I have not been on az for ages but ever since I've been here....tommy has portrayed himself as a cue maker.....not dealer.....but a cue maker out of bill's old shop. Maybe I'm wrong but if I'm not thats pretty low.....and all the different alias has con man all over it....

It sure is hard to ignore his perfect 158/100% iTrader rating, but I guess you never know.

I'm hoping there will be some good explanation and all will be squared away soon.

If it were true that he is trying to pull a big move, then it would be prudent to get the police involved.

I have nothing to say about Tommy, as I've said everything worth saying in direct post battles with him - all of you ignored me then, so I'll ignore all of this b.s. now. But I will say that if it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck....

Regarding your i-trader comment - what a crock. I-trader is totally meaningless, as everyone with any sense knows. Some of your highest i-traders are also some of the most dishonest cue dealers I have ever met.

Everyone who isn't in a coma knows that there are plenty of dishonest cue makers out there - get used to it and deal with the ones that you KNOW are respectable. If you get burned by someone like this, you should post so that others have a better chance of avoiding the same, but the whining just makes me laugh.

It is called schadenfreude. Reveling in the misfortune of others. Just another wonderful trait revealed through the miracle of the Internet where people think that their every utterance is seen by millions.

Just pursue legal action and try to band together with more victims to press charges and file suit.
