Anybody Seen a Ball Teck Tip Cutter??

About 10 years ago at Chris's Billiards I saw some Koreans at a 3C Tourney changing tips in a matter of 2 minutes with a device like this.

Yes I have seen them in action here. Also there are other similar devices from Korea available here that work well.

No idea on pricing. Need to check my notes.

I just stumbled upon this while surfing. Guess it works like the Willard's tiptool. Tempting to give it a try. You know other tools like this John?

Looks very well made. When I was doing tips by hand, I would have been on this like white on rice if I had have seen it.

I may just buy one out of principle anyway. One of my team mates does a pretty fair job of tipping by hand with absolutely no real tools so I think he
would be very interested in this.

You have a point there. I'm surprised there is still no tool that can make your tip look like it's done on a lathe.. except maybe for the willard's but that's allmost as expensive as a small lathe.
