Material Quesdtion

Hello JB, Which materials are you using for the interior lining?
is that wool felt?

It is a cotton and synthetic blend. Wool is too rough and too heavy. This material is soft but very strong. I don't know what the fabric is called in English.

In German it's called Dekostoffe. It's almost impossible to find in fabric stores in the USA.

That's a really nice case John..your idea or Karen's? :)

This interior fabric is widely used as furniture lining fabric especially when Velcro tapes are used since Velcro(male part) sticks well to this kind of fabric. The one John uses are very good quality ones and don't fray or "ball" easily..

Amazing work!

Wow John
Lots of leather work involved here!
Colors look great!
Should be able to find a good home for this one!
Good luck with your sale!

Awesome case John! Keep up the great work. This one has really cool tooling, and I love the form of that pocket tooling. Can't wait to see the next one.

Nice work john.....for some reason i think this case would be perfect with a tad cue. The tooling just seems to scream tad cue to me.......no luck needed with this sale as someone is going to be a happy person when this arrives on their doorstep...

Can't believe this is still available!

Thanks Marc. It's the economy, sales are slower for everybody. I think people are waiting for me to start lowering the price on this one. I will let it ride a few more days and then see how long people can hold out before someone pulls the trigger.

Meanwhile why don't we show off the case that's on the way to you right now.

Thank you Jeff. It does have a bit of a cue feel to it. One thing I didn't mention is the way the diamonds have slightly rounded sides. This is a subtle difference to the way diamonds are normally drawn. And they are not easy to do even using a drawing program.

Man, I hear you. The stuff that shows up on AZ that I have to pass up is heartbreaking sometimes. I have been very lucky to be allowed to do some nice trades. But I were able to buy everything I see here that I really want then I'd definitely be in contention for some kind of award from AZ's sellers. And I'd be in detention from my wife who would ask me if the cloth supplier would like to be paid in cues....

Been Tracking

Can't wait to get it in my hands!
It's on a plane right now!
Not sure where but it's getting closer!
Pictures look great!

Having the basket weave tooling ties in perfectly with the Ichtus symbol,,, Very nice work John... Marc should be bouncing off the walls about now
