Changes since last year are as follows...

- 9 ball instead of 10 ball, which will not take as long.

- Regular 2x Elimination instead of allowing a buyback option, which just made everything take so much longer. (Will finish on Sunday w/more time for ring games and high stakes action)

- All Ladies will receive FREE Entry into the Open field (Only $ they will pay is Green Fees)

- Jump cues will be allowed with no other special rules. (You can use whatever cue you want at anytime you want)

- We will now have an HD quality Live Stream for home viewers and those wanting to record their matches on the tv table.

Definitely hit this tourney if you're looking to not play, but instead get into some heavy action.

There's plenty of big action at these events with the caliber of players we get.

How many tables will be in use? Sounds like a large field and long race to get done in 2 days.

There are 12 Valley barbox tables w/860 Simonis & Red Circle Cue Balls and it certainly won't be a challenge getting done in 2 days. The field is 'Open' to 128 players, which includes all Ladies for free, but I estimate the field will probably be between 75-100 players.

For one, opening it up to a possible 128 just allows more room for women to just walk in and play with a $0 entry fee. It also makes it easier for people to just show up and pay w/o necessarliy needing to pay in advance if they don't want to. With a 64 player field I found many players not showing up cause they didn't like to pay in advance, hence they didn't want to risk there being no spots available after making that long drive.

Yes, it is a good tourney and has many improvements over last years event as I stated in the 2nd comment.

Sounds good Arkansas! This will be an AWESOME event that many players will be traveling to from not only Arkansas like yourself, but last year we had a player from Arizona. We'll see who all shows up this year! :)

We'll also have St. Jude reps there running raffles for lots of cool stuff that was donated to St. Jude for this tournament and also the always loved 50/50 cash raffles that every gambler always loves ;)

The tourney is getting a LOT of positive press lately and with the added improvements to come... you do NOT want to miss this event!!!

BUMP for ya KJ, and a reminder that there are 9 footers there for 1P.....you do know that game right KJ? I'll play ya for gondolas :p
