Some of us are stuck in freezing cold I think I saw a cloud in the sky yesterday Los Angeles while others of you get to gallivanting all over the Country doing fun stuff like going to, or displaying at, the 2011 ICCS.
How about you fortunate guys sharing with us less fortunate ones and sharing some pics of the show?

Hi Kevin,
The ICCS had a professional photographer at this year`s show, and is preparing a cd for me in the very near future. When it is available, I will post some pictures of key cues on display, etc.
He captured all:
The Cue Collections,
The Cuemakers and their new cues,
The Grand Collection,
The Special Collection,
The Special Collection Auction final minutes ( a real fun time),
The Collectors Choice Award,
The public show on Saturday,
And a lot of ancillary events like:
The annual pool tournament for all registered attendees
The Anheuser Busch Brewery Tour (including Clydesdales, etc)
The Collectors Meeting Saturday morning
The Wednesday Golf Outing
The Saturday Evening Awards Banquet, etc......
For me personally, the most touching event of the entire weekend occurred at the Awards Banquet, when I personally was given the signal honor and high privilege to present our first ever.....................................

........................To the late John Wright.
It was a very, very special moment, one I will treasure and hold dear forever. We invited John`s son Greg, his wife Nikki, and their 18-month old son Ian (a version of John) to the banquet. I will post more on this later, when I can do it justice. As I gave my talk, I asked if anyone in the audience had anything they wished to contribute, and one by one, many people stood to a quiet banquet hall as the poignant memories of John Wright poured over us. As he would say, " Shucky-darn, it was real nice". I might add, not very many dry eyes also.
In my estimation, at that moment the ICCS had accomplished one of its best moments, honoring a true pioneer of the cue selling/collecting world. More later.
